I may do this and keep saving up for the engine and trans and just go easy on it. I did get a new trans 100k ago but my engine has 180k on it

I'd still do it. I have a GM version of the M90 sitting here that I would love to somehow adapt to work on my truck. It has 230,000 and I wouldn't hesitate to put it on.

Get a crew cab if you're going to spend the cash. I don't regret it one bit and I love ex cab trucks

How many miles does your engine/trans have and how do you drive?
