Probably have to pull the transmission and or the timing cover to fix to small leaks.

The damn oil pan is leaking whwere the curved part goes past the crank. I need to double check the rear main again too, so it's gonna be a long cold day in the driveway

How cold is cold? It's -39 here today, a old fashioned pop corn maker to put the tools in to keep them warm really helps, I'm doing a intake manifold gasket in the driveway today if worse comes to worse, suspecting its the reason for some of my issues, good luck in the cold!

Keep the truck or sell it. I love it but the allure of an old truck is wearing. I know now it's about a $4000-$5000 truck. It's got 167xxx. The trans is acting up. I can finish the swap, put a trans in, fix the rust/paint and still keep the total under $10,000 including the truck cost. From there the only other thing I'd want would be a cowl hood and new tires by next fall. I went car shopping with my gf today and either, I am going to get her G6 for a DD gas saver continue to mod my truck and together we will get a nice vehicle. We were looking at a 13/14' Taurus SHO. Or...I sell my truck and her car goes since they both have over 160xxx and I'd look for a psd

If I keep my truck though, it'd be an SHO for sure and they're sick as f***

Need some advice please I was recently off roading and my battery straps broke and causes the battery to fall on its side and break my oil fill line on my 97 4.6 Windsor. I found a set of valve covers on Jegs but what I need to know is, it a hard job to change the valve covers do I have to take anything off to gain access? Any knowledge on changing the valve covers would be very appreciated

heck yeah! I heard from one of my engine buddies that with the proper boost controller, down pipe, and tune you could make a lot of HP for little cash.
