when you've grown up around something i guess you become more partial to it. I know how to work on a ford, but hell even these new trucks require a dealer with a special tool to do simple things lol, thats how I see it though

And the fact that a cammed 6.0 LS in a 2500 will make the same power as my L-charged 5.4 with full bolt ons

Yes I respect what GM does, they do make some amazing stuff, but I still prefer ford and mopar. I always have and I always will. That's for late model though. Anything from 70 or earlier is completely different. Id take a 50s or 60s chevy truck in a heartbeat. And I'd also love to have a 55 chevy 2 door hardtop, because my dad had one when he was in college that he had sold towards his final years in college. It was solid red with corvette wheels and it was a manual. Pictures I've seen of it it was actually a decent looking car. He sold it to some guy up in Ohio who said he was gunna restore it and said he'd send my dad pictures of it once it was finished, but my dad never got any pictures of it.
