It's a lot of work and money to do man.

no more difficult than the 4r100 it looks like, the extra gear and bulletproof 5r110 is tempting. The trans is having convertor lockup issues. Really noticeable under towing today. It'll get me by but I would love something a bit more substantial

You'll be the first to know lol So $2700 for a Lentech Or $600 for one of your guys low mileage take-outs, $400 for a good T/C, custom trans crossmember, relocate to the Tcase, cut the drive shaft down $500, and a stand alone controller and someone to tune it---absolutely no idea Carcrazygts2

Haha don't be biased now. Just because you have one doesn't mean you gotta run it in.

forgot about having to move the crossmember back as well... Do you know of this ever being done before? Wouldn't that possibly require a body lift of tunnel modification?

Never actually done one. I have done the research. Unsure on trans tunnel mods but a body lift would help. The 5R110 is a beasty transmission. You will definitely need a massive cooler. Such as one from a 6.0 diesel. They make some heat..
