Engine Builders talk.
He's not bad. I've bought a ported plenum from him. I give his port job an 8/10. It wasn't kick *** but it was good. There were a few spots which could have been smoothed out a bit better and it took a little to get the parts in the mail.
That vid is a m122 versus the m112 which is what most of us run. M122 is a way better blower.

You consider swapping to one later on?
Nah id go right for the whipple at that rate. I think the prices are similar. I hear the m122's are prone to locking up if you go much over a 6# lower. Plus you have to use an adapter plate. Whipple just bolts on from my understanding and you can spin the hell outta them.
Still gotta get my spare block measured out, hot tanked, bored etc before i even think of the Whipple lol

Where do you find whipples? They seem pretty rare on lightning? Everybody is kenne bell
Just my observation, but it always seems to be a toss up on folks who upgrade their s/c lightnings, IMO seems 50/50 for whipple versus KB. I've heard of a few KB's locking up too. Obviously just going off hearsay

Our trucks aren't built for that. lol Our trucks like preppy bitches compared to those. We used to just race "mud" trucks. A few years back all the tracks pretty stopped racing in mud and went to "dirt drags" Which sucks, but its not worth building a "mud" truck when 90% of its just dirt racing
Butttttt, today we bought another piece of a new truck (Another k5)we are going to start building for racing... And when its done, the red chevy will be a full on mud truck, once we get both blazers built.

And, Anyone in need of general modular parts? I'm going to a swap meet with a friend Saturday at Anderson and they special in Shelby's, roush, etc so they should have some good stuff
Hmm.. $4000, I think I'll stay with the standard swap for now lol. What do you have planned besides finishing your long block?

Not even sure what else i have planned. There's alot going on in the garage. Mainly i'm just finishing up replacing my camry's engine. At one point i had 3 engines and a trans in the garage. Not sure that i can handle any more projects. Aside from the camry, just need to build out a new longblock for the truck. Not sure on specs yet. Probably 38cc Trick flow heads, and some forged internals.
