T3/T4 hybrid is a very common choice for import tuners. I had a 240sx that I built in my early 20's I was considering mounting the hybrid to. Bored out 1mm, micro polished crank, crower rods, JE pistons, SS valves, P & P heads and twin exhaust cams (higher lift). Had Voss Racing in Live Oak, Fl build it. Never got to do anything else with it. Rod or wrist pin started knocking after about 2k miles and they wouldn't warranty it because it was "performance" work. They had a class action suit against them shortly thereafter and closed the doors. Karma is a bitch.
But it makes perfect sense to run dual hybrids on the v8 considering 1 is perfect on a 4 banger.
