Chains don't fit the crank gear right. Fml

Nope, prolly cause they aren't oem. I was ready to throw it in too. Had it all timed right, but tensioners have .00000000000001 play. Woulda surely broke something if I didn't catch it.

Needless to say the trick flow chains are going back. I'll pick up the OEM ford ones tomorrow at the dealer. Cost more than online, but I'm ready to have my truck back.

The oem ones fit fine. May have a lil stretch in them but you can def see the seating difference. Hopefully they have them in stock.

You might want to call TF about those chains. They may be designed to seat on there own (new).

Center link plate looks a thicker ? Not sure, hard to tell, but yea I would definitely call them. They don't lay perfect now, but they look to be close enough to each other to question seating. Keep in mind, new chains haven't been thru the dyno yet.

That's what I was thinking too. Maybe their timing components work in sync but maybe not with others.

Just picked up an eaton blower with stripped rotors, pulls, plenum, and boost actuator for 250 shipped lol.
