Default Dropped injector

I accidentally dropped a fuel injector down into the engine on my 2000 f150 4.6. Any ideas?

beneath the intake manifold? its a bit big to go very far. From there, you have two options, a flashlight and extendable claw....or yank the manifold. Sorry to break it to you, but only your eyes can help.

What would happen if I just left it down there? I think I managed to drop it down even further and now I can't even see it all. Would it hurt anything or are there any openings that it can drop into and......I don't know? Make the truck die? I know I need to replace the injector, but is the original one going to come back to haunt me? Thanks.

Try a spring loaded wire retriever if you can't see, hold your phone and take a video with the light on to see if you can find it.
