right on, that doesnt sound like to bad but how would that do for my gas mileage?? make it any better or worse? being it is my daily driver (im out of town for work all the time so technically not daily driver, but is used on my days off) so i would still like to keep the gas mileage as good as i can but i want to upgrade the diffs to make it a little easier on the truck but still take her out to play, thanks

4.56s are good but i would say 4.10s be better on the highways... 4.56 be better around town but easies accelerating

thnks for the link that helped for sure, but now that just leaves me questioning if i need to change the gears at all cuz it says in there a couple times that with 35's stock gears are fine, but is it just "fine" or is it better to spend the money and get the gears put in for the sake of gas mileage and acceleration?

that and also less stress for the transmission and etc... i mean i can handle it but its just easier for the driveline. it helps prolong it a lil more

what size engine do you have, I just threw on 35's and my 5.4 turns them easily, but my suspension guy said i should still change to 4.10 or if you have the 8.8 rearend then go with the 4.30

i only have the 4.6L so it probably would be the best idea to go to the 4:10 gears being i got a little less power and it would make it a little easier on the engine to turn the tires, another thing, i havent messed around with gears or gearing at all so is it something i have to leave to the professionals or is it something i might be able to do by myself?
