Default Debris in muffler causing bad preformance

Here lately my truck has been running very rough and poor and not sure what the problem is, i got under there and apparently i have a flowmaster muffler, anyway, i was hitting around with a hammer and happen to hear ALOT of debris in the muffler, so im guessing the fibers in one of the cats are broken or somethinf else, any ideas from anyone?

I mean surely you're not skylardog reincarnated? Seems odd that a few hours after he got blasted for posted about power loss and cats that a new user posts the same question

Here's a good thread to help you out

But if you think your muffler is bad why not go to a muffler shop and have them replace it?

So take it to a muffler shop and have them diagnose it or take it to a ford shop and have them diagnose it. Simple, easy, peace of mind you know what it is.
