Default Dash swop

OK so we recently purchased a 2002 F150 lariat not a huge fan of the interior. I’d like to put a 2004 to 2008 Dash in it same as with the super duty seats has anyone ever tried to attempt this before? if so I’d like some direction. And on a sidenote would I be able to fit older super duty doors on my truck as well so I have the drop part of the window and frame to fit more recent door panels on.

Good luck. Let us know how it works and take good notes.

If I’m reading right, the 10th Gen truck is slightly wider. In any event, you’d need the dash and front door panels, which likely calls for the doors to have everything fit right. You would need to start swapping parts under the dash as nothing is gonna fit off your ‘02.

I’ve had an ‘08 and still have an ‘03. The ‘03 is the better truck in terms of fit and finish.

I highly doubt that would work. Fit and finish is a lot different between the 2. The seats you could probably swap from a super duty. But the 11th gen dash and especially the door panels would be a real challenge. If possible

I completely understand the measurements differences between the two I’ve seen some pretty insane Dash swaps that I didn’t think were possible.

with modifications I’m gonna keep everyone up-to-date on here to see how the project progresses. now my other question is could 2001 to 2003 super duty doors fits on the 2003 F150 ?

I doubt it. And that would look horrible

I have seen this question asked 5-6 times in the past with no follow up.
They are different vehicles with different dimensions and electronics.
Sure anything can be made to fit, but the time and cost associated with it is impractical.

If you want an 11th gen dash, buy an 11th gen.

The seats may fit with some mounting mods, but no idea. I find my 10th gen seats more comfortable than 11th gen.

eh, that is debatable. i do think the 11th gen seats are made better, and the bucket seats once broke in hold your body well. 10th gen captain chairs though are nice

10th gen is when Ford separated the light 150 from 250 and up, heavier duty.

I dunno what canS of worms this i
opens up, aside from a rolled rear axle tube that is hard as fudge to clean when you buy one with metal paste caught all over the tube welded flange. Double check. Seats, migbt be easy.
