Default Dash

So I recently inherited my grandpas 2001 F150 King Ranch, it may not be much to a lot of people but it's a very well kept truck and has a lot of sentimental value. But with it starting to get so old the dash I noticed has a few small cracks and I was wondering if it's possible to take a dash and center console from a 2009 F150 and put into my truck?

You could but the fab work would be ridiculous. What parts are cracking exactly?

It's cracked up near the defrost vents in a few places but I think that was caused by the a wreck and then it was barely driven for about 2 years

If it was grandpas truck, and it indeed was sentimental seems like restoring to original would be important vs a rigged up Frankenstein creation. But to each his own I guess. I can't see a 2009 interior in a gen 10 working. Just purchase a 09 if you like them that much. Keep Grandpas truck unmolested and restore to it's original state. You can find these dashes very easy. Sounds like Grandpas truck doesn't mean much to you vs others.

Regardless, you can swap out interiors in gen 11's with the nicer/cooler 09 style, but not the gen 10s. The cabs are of a different size.

I've tried looking for one but I can't find them in the same tan color and not damaged already. Where can you find them?

Salavge yards, junk yards, UPull yards. You can also look on this site for folks selling interior parts. E bay and forums as well. http://car-part.com/ is another site that searches from your zip code out for yuh.

What pieces are you looking for, specifically?

You can also pick up some sem color match paint and match it yourself.

Yup, I've pieced mine back together with a combo of F150 and Expedition parts. I'm going to hit the less than perfect pieces with SEM.
