I don't know if this one was on there or not but check it out, the guy used 1/4 of another chevy frame and used it as a sub-frame!! check out those T-bar drops!!! HAhaha sweeeet you'd think with all that "fine" fab work he'd weld some coil buckets on that bish!! obviously only wanted to keep it stock with that frame and all right?
I gotta say, WTF???????????? 41" IFS? He should of done a SAS.... What a ****ing tard.

So I said I'm buying my friends kit and he broke a knuckle and bent the other one in an accident . Then they said I could buy the knuckles for $129 a piece Haha... So $258 Plus the $ for the stock, and Misc parts (stabalizer links, nuts bolts washers), time to build and install... Might as well just spend the $1,000.00 and get a warranty with it I guess

If I can drop the diff 1-2" and get 1-1 1/2" higher in the front I'll be happy... just don't know how the ball joints'll do
I'm sure other companies sell knuckles and ****. Just call like Fabtech or someone and say, "Hey, I have a lift kit and this and this broke or rusted out and I want to replace it, can I buy these seperate?". Dude that would be pimp to make your own lift kit....... OMG. It can't be hard. As long as you can weld, it's a done deal. lol. That would be ****ing sweet. Go to a local offroad shop, most have a lift kit displayed on the wall and do measurements.. go for it!! At my last job I had access to steel 24/7.. tons of 1/4" 46100 armored steel I could of used. LOL.

I seriously might go for it in the Summer when more work comes in and it's warmer, but for now I'll just try to tackle the CV angles... Oh and we don't really have 4WD shops around here that I know of ... That would be sick though If I could fab one up!! I just wouldn't wanna risk hurtin my daughter or myself or some innocent driver or bystander with a home made lift that failed and sent my truck rougue... at least if I purchased one that failed it'd be on someone elses hands ya know?

I have cranked up factory keys, I havent had any trouble with them.
torsion bars cranked, about 2 inches of lift, hI have been running it for about 4 years mostly on the road and mud pits only problem i have it a little stiff ride but noting to complain about. running 35'' tires and it still has power and stability. ill post a pic in about an hour or so.

I'm sure you saw my post where I bent my tow hook, messed up my fog light, broke my trailor connector, and killed my altenator. But from what I can see, my cv boot did not rip! And I was hard on it.. I might wash my truck this week and make sure the boot is fine. But I couldn't feel any rips.

Yeah, How'd Faber get those angles? Both My2003fx4 and Faber sit a little higher than mine... My torsion bars must be tired of Rippin wheelies Hahaha jk

AZ I'll check Terrors thread out... That one never caught my eye for some strange reason!
