Oh yeah!! that's right! HURRY UP! jk... now what would be the big problem with welding 4 new mounting tabs that = 1" lower on the cross members?? I know it would only take care of .25 of the problem (still have a stiff ride, and ball joint wear etc...) but how would that be a bad thing?? as long as ya go straight down and make it strong...

The mounting tabs for the front diff... just lowering the diff mounting tabs to drop the diff down an 1"... I think I'll try it in the next few weeks and let ya know... definitely need to do some quality welding and brace the new tabs back but I think it'd work to take care of CV angles

These are located on the factory cross members, take a peek under your truck...

"Budget Lift + Expensive Lift =

Specs are 7 Turns for 2" of Torsion Bar lift. Still have more to go but I'm leaving it where its at (front just a bit higher than the rear).

Thanks Maxximus! Looks good, sweet truck BTW ... 7 turns for 2"? I didn't know that Thanks again

My2003fx4, I looked under the truck earlier and see that an inch is all you could get out of that type of drop because any further and the front driveshaft would touch the cross member... but with the scrap 1/4", some fab skills and access to my dads welder it might just be worth it for me... I might get to taking a closer look next week and maybe even fab up the brackets if I decide It's worth it...

Hey can I name it the JDmod if it works??? HAHAHA
