Get some acrylic enamal & a small brush. Then test your steadiness & dexterity. Easy to do. You can also wipe them down with acetone to remove the factory paint and have all chrome badges.

This was taken early in the morning, it shines a lot brighter in the sun.

How many coats? How long does it last?

Are you asking how to get all chrome? Or wanting to paint yours?

If painting, I would put 2-3 coats on it and touch it up when necessary.

If chrome, all of our emblems are already chrome. Ford paints over the chrome to give you the shiny F150 portion with black around it. All you have to do is remove the paint with acetone.

Thanks I was asking about painting. Probably should have specified that haha. Would you scuff it any with fine grit sand paper or no?

You could, but I don't think it would be necessary. Just wipe it down with some alcohol or paint thinner. As long as you get any residue off the surface the paint will stick.
