No problem. I would go with a high gloss paint for maximum shine. You could even clear over it for added gloss & protection.

would it be noticeable if i used just white instead of ford's shade of white on the badges? or should i go with what color ford used on my truck?

You can get it pretty close. Try painting a small piece of plastic and holding it next to your truck to give you an idea. Ford calls it Oxford white.

Nope. You can do it with the badges still attached. Soak a rag with acetone and wipe away. Didn't hurt the body paint at all, but I tried keep the rag off of it as much as possible.

Default custom badging

it took awhile, but i removed the f150 badges, taped off the black, and spraypainted the chrome white, it came out great!
