Your truck seemed to start really hard at -9, way harder than mine does at -20. How many miles on your engine?

Look like normal cold starts to me.

I don't have videos of me starting it.

Seems like the only time to do that would be when something is wrong.

You know that whine that you get as soon as the truck starts when it's really cold, is that just the power steering pump or something else?

Both could be from a weak and cold battery. What cca is the battery rated for and how old is it?

I got my battery this fall and it has 850 cca at 0 degrees and over a thousand at 32 degrees

Never seen a truck battery with over 1000ca
