I would still change the plug. If it is misfiring it may have fouled the plug, and since you have 90% of the work done, just go ahead and do it to make sure.

Im having the same issue. Had it this morning. What does COP stand for- Sorry- Im new to this and just got my 05 F-150 IN April.

yeah i changed the plugs, wires, and coil pack on my 4.2 and the vibration went away for good, it would rattle your brains out before, i think it was due for a tune up lol, it was only firing on 3 out of 6 cylinders

guys i have no idea no idea on how to make new thread so i'm just gonna ask a question. i have a 2002 f-150 with the 4.2 v6 and auto trans and when its in drive or reverse, it idles way down and starts to spit and sputter, any advice on this would help, thank you.
