Default cats

I want to hollow out my 2 rear cats is there any way of doing it without removing them or cutting them open

Hollowing them out will hinder more flow than free it up. Putting in a test pipe is the best way to go.

I have an exhaust setup with a cherry bomb and its so quite its pretty much stock so I have the muffler cut out right now

I have to have some kind of cat in there to pass inspection it can be punched just has to be there

Punch it out and slide a pipe through. You're gonna have to pull them off to punch them

I seen online about using a hammer and pounding a chisel on it will break it up but I don't want to beat the hell out of it cause then you can visibly tell it has been punched

Yeah but it has a heat shield surrounding them. So that won't work on these.

the back ones do not have much room to spare. But easily accessible The front ones are a little more difficult.
