Default A/C Not working

Hi my AC went out in my 2003 f150 xlt 5.4. I don't know what happened or how to fix it. I brought it to my mechanic and he drained the freon and refilled it to the proper level and he said it was not leaking. Also the ac compressor is spinning like it normally does but the truck does not idle down like it normally does when I turn it on. When I turn the ac on it blows hotter than hot it seems like. My mechanic said my compressor was fine so I don't know what to do thank you.

I wonder if he sucked out the system before filling?

Assuming it really was a real mechanic and the compressor pressures are really okay. Pretty much got to be the blend door....

Quick test, when it's running what does the suction line coming out of the accumulator to compressor feel like....cool? Warm?

it’s a legit mechanic bud. I normally work on my vehicles myself but I didn’t have time to mess with this pos. I just asked him what was wrong with it without fixing anything so I didn’t pay the money.
