Default A/C control face

Well, a while ago I put in a new gauge face, and a little while ago, I found the matching one for the manual A/C controls. My main question is, has anyone removed their cover before? And if so, how hard was it and what did you do to remove it? It looked a little difficult to me. Here's the face I was talking about anyway:

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm guessing not... If no one says anything, I'll just say screw it and let this drop to the bottom of the forum.

There's a thread on converting to LED controls that covers how to do it. I don't remember who wrote the thread, but it was very detailed.

I did end up having to change the bulbs. Apparently pulling a 10 year old bulb out of the unit makes it blow. I went with LEDs and love them. The face is my issue... I noticed on how difficult it seemed, so I wanted to ask a few people to see if they've done it before. I'd love to have the A/C controls match the gauges!

Looks like you just pull the factory one off and stick that one on there. Btw where did you come across that?

Just browsing the web. It was still before I bought the face, and I happened upon it. They have the same face for the 9th gens also... I do plan to get the face, but its going to be a PITA to peel it off... I think so, at least.

Got a link?

That factory face don't seem real hard to peel off though, especially if left out in the heat for a while

I know it looks like a 9th gen in the pic, but thats just a stock pic. The number does match up, and you're good to go. Part# if you want is: NUI SS213
