man i am sorry to hear that you are still having problems. you must have disk brakes on the rear of your auto?
if it was me i would lean more on the calipers. now this is just me but i did not have allot of faith in the hoses being bad but this is just me. i just replaced mine because it was the cheapest part first. i don't drive the truck but about 3 times a month so with my problem not showing up every single time that i drive it i could go months without the brakes sticking again

i wish you lots of luck and hope that you let us know what you find. i am very interested. thanks

Something to try to help diognose. With vehicle and brakes cool, drive slowly 10-15 MPH and stop using only the emergency brake. If you get the sensation that a wheel is out of round, the drums (rear) are out of round and need machining.

If above indicates nothing, do not use the E-brake at all, and continue to drive for a few days, this is just to eliminate the mechanical E-Brake stuff and narrow down to the hydraulic disc brake stuff.

Well, I never figured it out... The truck also started having starting problems, so I ended up trading it in for a new Taurus SHO.

I was just wondering.

I think changing the caliper solved the problem. Very easy to do. Only 30 minutes

Hope you found a auto that you liked.

I keep at lease three autos around. About every five years I find a good trade and just pay cash for one. I run the heck out of it then trade again.

I hate having a payment

Sometimes I do have some problems come up. With web sights like this I can always find a easy repair

Best of luck to you
