Default body part $$ values?

I bought a GORGEOUS 99 reg cab long bed...40,000 miles...hit in driver door. needs rocker and door. They gave me my $2,000 estimate. So I bought a 2000 reg cab long bed. same color (white) and all....bad head gasket, no ignition(at all), no radio, and no tailgate. Body not PERFECT, but good. The friend and his boss who run a body shop are coming at noon. They will give me a price with me providing the parts and they keep the rest. nice 8 ft box! but no tailgate. nice front end! scummy interior-SHOT what do you think is a fair deal? I paid 450 for the donor.

Default well, u asked

I paid 600 to the guy who bought it new Oct 98. It's a 4.2 2wd 5 speed 8'box but that's what I wanted-- then paid 450 for the 2000 exact same thing except automatic..... Body shop guy who gave me 2k estimate told me he'd take the truck and 1,ooo to fix it all up....we shook hands...he comes after the truck tomorrow and we'll set up my truck's repair then. Sounded ok to me...you?

the only problem i see is, u should just pull the engine and drop it into the good body then u can just basically switch parts over

took less then an hour to change seats and that involved the drive home with the new seats for me, the tail gate just lifts on and off (no effort)

sleeper-300/6 is the best engine EVER!! imo... and the dent, I'll ask.

Bell Blue Raider-My truck=1 owner, rich guy, beautiful family=truck like new inside and undercarriage is still clean and painted..... spare= 9 years of being a companytruck with holes drilled, grime and slime, and undercarriage is rusty and worn.
in summary-my truck is like new and I know the history. spare is in my opinion a risk. but I understand what you're thinking
