Gonna pull the cover tomorrow night, I think the valve broke and that's why the electrodes were bent together in the original plug... let you know what I come up with tomorrow

What, when did you post that, I can't find it. You must of found it when you compression tested what, -2 days back, well Wednesday anyway...okay, 1 normal day back from now I guess lol.

A chipped valve is the hunch. Could be bent, doubtin it though. I don't think it's a follower at this point because the readings don't support it IMO. I could be wrong I guess...have to take a look see.

Can't get the valve cover off completely... followers and everything look alright from what I can see. I think I'm gonna put it back together and drive it til it blows.

Stripped bolt. That can be a PITA, specially by the firewall lol.

Iduno, your engine has very good compression, might be worth a fix IF you can do it yourself. Price out the one head R&R, since the compression is good. You've taken care of it right, runs good besides the problem now correct?

However, -if your looking to make a home for a lightning swap, you have a somewhat worthy excuse.

Correct Jbrew, ran great until now. I have maintained it well, I don't know what I want to do yet. I don't really have the tools for a head job, and timing on these engines makes me a little nervous. I would love a lightning swap! Except I don't have the funds lol. I have another 4.6 engine laying around that I plan on building some year. Won't get around to that anytime soon. Just not sure what to do yet.
