Default bed liner

Any of yall ever put spray on bed liner on by yourself? If so post some pics I'm debating on doing it myself or just getting it done professionaly.

Thumbs down My bedliner

Well I did roll-on bedliner myself.....I believe it was Herculiner and it set me back about $80....it has looked like this for about 6 months and it hasnt even been on for a year yet. Needless to say I'm dissapointed and will be getting it professionally done this summer for $200-300 instead of wasting $80

Course my bed gets a lot of use......but still, I've never seen Line-X or Rhino lining do this after even years of use

I put a Herculiner in my truck bed early last year and it still looks great, just a little dirty in the pic. How well it holds up is in the prep work just like on a professional job.

Yeah I won't deny the prep work haha: the scuffing pad in the kit didn't cut it. Also started raining out of nowhere while I was rolling it on (texas weather changes by the minute) but you also have a bed cover to keep it protected. Just my opinion, I would have rather payed a professional in the first place

Yours looks great though, I'm jealous hah

My buddy used some roll on stuff in his '78 about two years ago and it still looks like it did the day he put it on. Granted we sanded the entire bed to bare metal and patched some rust spots. It's all in the prep work. I've just got a plastic liner right now but thinking about using the same stuff my buddy used. Can't remember what brand it was though.

Haha the Texas weather comment is true. And I have a plastic bedliner right now too but I don't like it. I think I'll just go ahead and pay a few hundred dollars to have it professionally done.

If you go with Line-X. Spring the extra money for the "Premium". In my old Chevy it had a week old regular line-x when I bought it. Looked great. Year later looked horrible. Faded and stained. But it never did chip. They are durable though.
