Default Bank 1 Lean code......

Where is the first place to look to get this damn code gone? its been bugging me for awhile but haven't had time to mess with it and I have no clue where to start. Also I have an oil leak somewhere because when I shut my truck off after driving a short while it smokes from under the hood which I also need to look into.
Let me know if you have any idea where to start.
thanks

I had the same thing but mine was Bank 2 PO174 Lean Burn. Supposed to be a dirty MAF sensor. I think mine may have been because I put some B12 Chemtool in the tank on the last fill up to clean the injectors. Been doing that with all my cars for years periodically without the light coming on. Not sure if that's the cause though. I went to Advance and borrowed their code checker and got it cleared up. Hasn't come on yet. It's only been a day or so though so we'll see.

Could be a vacuum leak.

It has to do with the vacuum hose I am 90% sure. Mine had this problem a couple weeks ago and i ended up taking it to a shop for them to fix it. Just didn't really have time to do it myself. The vacuum hose had dry rotted out.
