Got some more goodies in the mail.

They came in such a nice case and i like how MSD is on the top and molded into the side. Its gonna have a really hot spark with the iridium spark plugs.

I think after the engine goes in and the Limited slip goes in and i put the taller springs in the front I’m gonna put these stickers on. My truck will be a FX2 in all but the Vin number

You would have been better off with Motorcraft coils in my opinion.

I know, I’ve been on the forum a while and know everyone thinks that way.
but to be honest with you guys I’ve never had a problem with the Accel coil packs. I have had problems with motorcraft ones and all but one of the motorcraft coil packs i had were out of range on the ohm meter. This packs are 16 grams heavier than the stock ones.
The machiniest thought it would be a good idea to upgrade the coils, run a hotter iridium spar plug and go full synthetic. My new pistons up my compression .1 so thats why he recommended the upgrade. You guys will find out if thats a mistake soon enough. Im gonna put this baby together all weekend.

Well you'll either be happy or you'll end up buying motorcraft LOL. At least you know where to look first if you have problems! Hopefully they work out for ya. If they work you should update every 6ish months so we know how it's going. Ya never know, MSD could've changed some things.

Made some progress today with the help of my stepson. He helped me install the rear seal, flywheel, and 2 freeze plugs. He also helped me with the cleaning of the valve covers and oil pan.

Took some doing to get the engine on and off the engine stand. Here are the 2 plugs my stepson helped me with.

Flywheel is back on and the engine is back on the stand.

Freshly painted oil pan, valve covers and oil cap. I went with the corporate blue instead of the baby blue.

I got 2 pistons in before I called it a day.
