do not see a module like that. I see a gray module with what looks like an antenna wire and plug in connectors. the box is more behind the emergency brake than the brake pedal. Also did not see theft light flashing. It did come on when I pushed the lock switch on driver door. did not flash, stayed lit while I was in truck. Here's a picture

The module is part number F3AZ-19A361-K

I don't recall the part number for the whole kit.

opened door, stepped out of truck yesterday and alarm went off.. Would that be the panic part of alarm? Wife has original ford remote, I have 2 aftermarket ones. could it be the remote has a problem and sending panic alarm? Also have noticed can't shut alarm off once tripped with remote, I have to start truck! Thanks for your inputs

The way the Ford remotes are made, it's difficult to set off the panic by accident, but not impossible (other items in pocket or purse hit the button). I've never heard of one randomly sending signals on its own. My bet, is on the module itself failing, because you advised earlier that it malfunctions without any use of the remotes.

I sent you a PM about checking a part number. Did you get it?

I did get it. Thank you. I 've been sick and busy. I was not able to check on it and now I can't find it. I did see one that the last two letters were different from mine (ac instead of ab). I was trying to decode part # but not finding any consistency in what 3rd letter is!

But seriously, I have no more ideas other than perhaps a pinched/shorting wire someplace. You've got a weird one here.

It's never something simple it seems! Going to check doors this weekend if weather cooperates. I did notice this am that the alarm shut off when I unlocked driver door with key, where before I had to start truck?
