I bought these lights off of ebay and i wanted to wire them to the headlights so that when the headlights come on so do these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251997249349?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITThese lights came with 2 wires on each. Black and red. How would i go about wiring these to the headlights. and what about placement?

Turn on headlights and use a volt meter to check which wire has power. Then red goes to that wire and ground the black wire. Put then where you want.
I have some of those as my under hood lights. Pretty bright for that, no sure what they will do with headlights. Maybe if you wire them to the parking lights or just use them as DRL (which is what they are marketed as.

Did you wire those into the mercury switch that was originally used to light up the engine bay?

I would think you would want those to come on with the parking lights...
