Default Accel COPs

I am going to go ahead and replace the COPs and Plugs to deal with my no code misfire situation in my 5.4. I have checked over all the vacuum lines and found nothing out of place. I have found enough threads here to convince me that I likely have a weak COP or plug. SInce I don't have a code to tell me which one is bad, I have decided to replace all COPs and plugs to prevent down time and wild goose chasing.

Summit Racing has an 8 pack of Accel COPs for 208. Seems like a good deal. I've always trusted Accel in the past. Anyone have Accel COPs on thier truck?

Also, what Motorcraft plug number would you guys suggest? SP432 or SP479?

I'm planning on putting the truck in the garage this weekend and getting the work done so I can enjoy my truck again...

Yeah, but are they reliable? I don't relish the idea of having to replace COPs every 10 or 20 K...

Go with the Global ones from Ebay.
I have done alot of research on them, and they are every bit as reliable as the expensive ones.

Accels have a terrible record for failure. I'm running Global COPs from ebay along with many others who have not had a problem with them.

globals seem to be the cats meow at an easy on the pocketbook price.

a little research and googling convinced me. and with the proper tools changing them even the first time isn't terrible
