I ran into the same problem as you. The 6 disc are very hard to find. You might have to go single disc. I would suggest trying eBay or a salvage yard. Good luck!

I just like the stock one best haha aftermarket would look way out of place. You know like western cowboy with like a huge flat screen watching MTV rap videos.. Out of place.

Here is an idea for you that will work well. Use a 2006-07 Escape radio with 6 disc changer built in. It fit into the slot without any problem with the face. The back is a bit different than the original. Notice how the whole unit is squarish. The original has the back cut down to fit the dash, so the plastic piece in the back of the radio hole has to be removed, but that isn't a big deal. The radio looks like this:

I personally had a 2007 Escape Hybrid radio in mine with navigation. Same size, and other than a quick make up harness from original to the Escape head, and it was up and running. You would need a Metra 70-1771 and BT1770 kit to make the perfect harness adapter. You don't use the whole BT kit, but you do have the secondary plugs if you want more speakers available to you. With those pieces and a little putting them together, you are set.

I did pull that head out last weekend and replaced it with my Android that I had since January. Lazy I know. I like having my phone as a hotspot and making my radio into a full fledged computer, if necessary. I have over 14000 MP3 songs and numerous MP4/AVI movies on it for my Grandson to watch. I have an overhead console for DVD's, but I'm going to add a 10" monitor, fold down unit to run off the Android head, so that I can let him watch what he wants, in the back, via remote. Very neat system available this way. There is also an app that cuts the video from the front, and only allows it to the rear, via RCA outputs. I haven't downloaded that yet, only because I don't drive the truck very much in the summer. I also have 2 internal cameras pointed at each opposite side windows. This allows me the comfort of having any person come to my windows being recorded, just in case. Good thing is if you want, you can send the video live, if you feel threatened. A bit of safety on my part, I feel.

F150Screw...That is almost the same unit I installed. Did you upgrade the memory on your unit by adding memory sticks or cards? I bumped mine to over 500GB by adding memory flashdrives.

Badass man! I have the P4300DVD model from Pioneer. I ran a USB extension cable and mounted it behind where the black plastic meets the carpet under the dash for updating my music videos/music library. I have a 128GB flash drive that's connected to it, but honestly I've never had it more than 1/2 way full with various videos and songs. The DivX format I render in is only about 10mb for a 4 minute music video.

I also have the add-on navigation system and Bluetooth module. It has a badass Kenwood CMOS-320 backup camera with normal, wide, angled, and overhead views hooked up to it as well as (2) 4 channel amps, (1) subwoofer amp, and a Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.3 sound processor.

I used to work at a car audio store for a while and over time I bought what I have piece by piece. Even though the head unit is old and discontinued, I bought it because the firmware is simple and not cluttered with the stuff new radio's have that make them "laggy" to the touch. It also has 4 volt pre-out RCA's which delivers more signal to your amps.

I had to trim the dash a little bit to fit the 7", but she fits in there nice and snug.

Just bought a '02 F150 about 3 months ago.The 6 disc changer jammed a week later. opened it up and found the plastic gear drive was not engaging. Fixed it and the next day same thing. Pure junk. Gonna change out the whole system.
