Check your vacume lines first. There's two selonoids behind your battery. There identical... follow those lines down to your acuator and if you don't see and cracks pull your battery and its tray and check the lines there. Then try shooting the accuator with some pb blaster a couple of times.

Alright. I'll try that tomorrow. How do you know if you have a leak? Is it noticeable?

Should be very noticable. The two lines are pink and blue. If your not seeing cracks or hearing a wistling sound take some dish soap and water and Spray your lines and look for bubbles. Basically what happened to me way my battery was leaking acid and ate threw the lines and destroyed my selonoids. Went to the junk yard and got the selonoids and check valves for ten bucks. I used hard emisions line from autozone to replace what was cracked.

I've never had a problem with vacuum lines personally, but i don't see the water/soap thing working on vacuum lines.

Since by definition, vacuum lines have a vacuum inside, not pressure...so if one is compromised, it won't leak air from the inside out, it leaks air from the outside in, so it would be pulling the soapy water into the line.

I'm thinking it's the actuator. Bc it seems like it partially locks in
