If you're only going to crank the torsion bars I would recommend 285/75/17 as that will fit with little to no trim of the valence. The 35/12.50/17 is going to require maxxing out your torsion bars and trimming the crap out of your valence. Just my .02

I got 315/70r17s on my truck which i believe is very close to that size. I have a couple of turns on the torsion bars (far from maxed out) and i had to do a slight bit of trimming, but nothing major.

I'm running 295/70R17 Toyo M/T with no trimming at all. I just cranked the t-bars up around 2" but I've probably got enough of room to clear a 315 with slight trimming. Just not a fan of cutting a prefectly good truck just to clear even bigger tires.

Surprised you only had to do minor trimming. I have my 285/75/16 and they rub the valence at full lock so I have to trim, and I also cranked the torsion bars.

Ya, I don't wanna do any cutting to the valance or anything, or max out my torsion bars

Yeah it wasn't a ton of trimming but it was definitely needed. But yeah I agree with F-ReV if you don't want to trim your best bet will be the 285s.

If u have stock wheels the 285s is a good option. But with a little offset and some minor trimming u can fit a lot more. I have 325/60/18s on mine with only a t bar crank and they do not rub at all.

325/60/18's are just a tad smaller in height than a 305/70/17. About 3/8 of an inch

But I agree Hoffman, my 305 's fit without any adjustments or cutting.
