Default Frame mounting step bars

I am looking into getting these smittybilt nerf bars, and since my rockers are pretty rusty I will get the frame mounted bars. Anyone have these? And with a white truck with black wheels should i get the black or chrome.. Tell me your opinions

I have to get frame mounted bars as well. The stock ones i had on there nobody took care of so i had to break them off around 6 different bolts were rusted on there. My girlfriends dad has chrome nerf bars and his truck is white like yours and mine, i think they look great.

I'm not a fan of chrome, but you could do either on your truck. Black would tie in well with the black wheels and chrome would go well because of the chrome bumpers. Just think about any changes you might want to do in the future. If you were planning to de-chrome and go to color matched bumpers, you shouldn't get chrome steps.

Also, once chrome starts to get a few scratches and/or some rust, you're pretty much hosed. With black accessories, it's easy to sand off the rust and shoot on some more black paint. If you live in a place where rust could be a factor, I'd suggest black over chrome.
