Default 2003 fx4

I was just wondering what special/different things these trucks with the FX4 packages have that the other models don't. For instance like maybe it sits alittle higher than the other 4x4's, comes with B6 3.71 gears stuff like that. thanks any input is appreciated!! ? here's a pic of my pride an joy white stallion lol

Skid plates for sure come on fx4 and not 4x4. I think they have same ride height. Also come with 17 inch wheels instead 16. May be some other differences

The only differences between an fx4 and a off road package is stickers, rancho shocks and gears

I'm pretty sure my 2002 fx4 has 3.55 non limited slip... Cause when I spin the tires I get one skid... That's how mom thought me to check.. Hahahah. (Iroc's didn't have limited slip I guess hahaha.) is there a better way to check.
Besides lifting the truck/ door jamb sticker(dont have it)

How did you paint your wiper cowl?

Did you take it off?

Yes i did take it off. First you pop the little cover off on the bottom of the wiper arm then unscrew the nut. The I used a crescent wrench to lightly beat the bolt and the wiper arm will come off after awhile. Then just unscrew the 4-5 Phillip head screws on each wiper cowl and pop the little plastic piece off under the hood and that's how you take them off!! Then take a scotch bright pad or something similar and scuff it up really well then make sure to take like a compressor and blow off all the dust, you can use a hose but you have to let it dry. Then do a few light coats so it doesn't run. I waited 5-10mins in between coats to let it dry. i did 4-5 coats can't remember lol.
