Default 2003 5.4 running lean code

I keep getting a running lean code on either bank 1 or bank 2. What would cause this?

Mine will do same thing. Get a lean code in bank 1 or 2 or sometimes both. I clear it and it will come on sometimes within a few days and sometimes a few weeks
