I would do 15 then, if it were me. Not enough maybe a bad thing. Are you aware of the problem with your engine ejecting plugs? search goggle for Ford spark plug problems.

I will look into it.. THANKS The more I get thinking about it I should just take it to the ford garage

This is pretty easy to do. I would save my money and do it myself. It's just important to torque them that's all.

Well after cleaning the MAFS, new air filter and plugs plus changing the fuel filter I'm still only getting between 12 and 13 mpg

I just purchased an 03 super crew. (4.6L) I'm only getting 11 1/2 mpg. I have a K&N filter with 285/70/17 tires. I'm not happy either.
