The compass on the overhead went out recently. I checked the fuse, took it apart, gave it a few taps but still nothing. And yes, I tried the push button for the on and off and nothin. Anyone else experience this problem or know what to do?

 

If the compass were the plug goes into it reads less than 5 ohms unplugged the compass unit itself is bad.
