He has some lighting headlights and stock grille just repainted black
probably, but I had mine tinted for a while and didn't get in any trouble. the only thing I would be worried about is exactly what happened to your friend who got rear ended and blamed for his tail lights. that's the only reason I took mine out

If I ever get pulled for my tails (I'm in florida) I'm claiming total ignorance, they were on the truck when I bought it haha.
That being said, I've had no issues either, but I will be switching to LED bulbs soon, mine are dim, but stock was dim too
