Default would my Knock Sensor be causing this...

Im trying to determin my problem..

My truck wouldnt start it seemed the timing was off, it ws missing and didnt seem to run on all 8cyl.

My battery died from cranking it so much so,

I disconnected my POS terminal and started to charge my battery I reconnected the battery and set the charger to 12v Start and the truck started up fine.. drove it around and seemed perfect 30 minutes later it slowly started to get rough and a bit after that I heard a missing sound again.. I parked it and now I'm back where I started..

Thanks everyone

on a lot of vehicles if the ignition system has anything less than 14 volts the plug wont fire a big enough spark. It sounds like your alternator is bad, so it ran fine until the battery started to die then it ran like ****

First thing is test the battcharging sys to eliminate the possibility. I worked in a dear for years and never ever myself heard of a bad knock sensor. Car just might be missing for another reason.
