Default 16s?

So, I've seen a few people on here running 17's
Can you run 16's on a 2000 Lariat?
It looks like it would be a really tight squeeze. I have Rotors all the way around factory option I believe.

Any Advice would be great. I found a listing of some great deals on 33s
Thanks in Advance

Default 16s?

My stock wheels and current wheels were both 16's. These are older pictures before my current mods but the wheels are still the same

Are you talking wheel to caliper clearance or? I do know that one of my wheels has a spot where the balancing weights were scraped off when mud or a rock got stuck between the wheel and the caliper. But nothing serious.

I'm running 265/70R17's on my 1998 F150 using 2003 Kings Ranch wheels. There is no problems with clearance and I like the way it looks. There is one guy around here with 18's and his looks really nice. My truck came originally with 255/70R16's from Ford, so the small up tick in size doesn't matter that much. My speedo is off 2mph, but that isn't a big deal. 97-8s don't have the calibration available to make the speedo work correctly, without changing speedo gears. The 99 and up have programable ways to make it correctable, which makes it so much easier.

Hey ! I have 16" aluminum rims that I painted black with dupicolor rocker guard. I have 285/75 R16 (33.5 inches tall) Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires

Only clearance issue I had was when I cranked the wheels all the way to the left and right
on the last turn it would hit bottom of my bumper valance so I just used a hacksaw and took about 2 inches of the plastic off then sanded down the rough plastic doesn't even look like I trimmed it at all now.

I have gotten lots of compliments on the wheels already I love them !

16s are fine I have heard that 15s will only work on really early 97 trucks, not sure if thats true or not.

I don't think I could run 15's on my '97, I currently run 17's and the space is tight in the rear with drum brakes. I used to run 16's, unfortunately no pics to reference how much space was left.
