Might be interested in this. I have a 2014 XLT with the 4.2” screen. How hard would it be to convert this? What else would I have to get? Also I gave the kicker VSS set up. Would that still work with this?

A lot of that is over my head but my son is in school and apprenticing at a dealership to become a Ford master tech. He’s gonna talk to the guy he’s apprenticing under tomorrow about what it would take.

I understand. I think the biggest things to purchase, would be what you see here. The rest would be modification to the bezel and then an antenna for navigation (which is relatively cheap) the brackets are also cheap.
What about the programming and wiring they were talking about in that thread?
The program is called ForScan. Look it up. It is a pretty beneficial tool when it comes to these trucks. Since this came from my FX4, you can even unlock many options using it. Touch Climate control, and many others. The tool is just an OBD scanner type tool that you order from Amazon. It hooks up to the vehicle and a laptop where you can view settings within ForScan. It just takes research. Everything is out there to make it self sufficient.
It is here either way. If you decide you want it, let me know. I have it boxed up and ready to go.
