Default Tailgate lights

Tempted to ad an LED light strip under my tailgate. They sell some which also work with backup lights and turn signals. But when I try to determine a quality manufacturer, most reviews on Amazon describe bulbs that die after a few months. Anyone have theirs for a year without problems? What brand?

I work at a place that installs them, and they are crap. They are made by bully, and they don't last long at all.

Thanks--appreciate the feedback. Anybody have experience with the "lifetime guarantee " Putco lights?

Am I the only one that thinks it's kind of a ricer-ish mod? I'm not knocking your choice, but it just seems like every time I see that LED light bar under the tailgate, the rest of the truck is ricer-ed out and half of the LEDs don't work...

To me its an old man accessory. Like something my grandfather wouldve put on his truck in addition to the moonvisor, diamond tread running boards and mudflaps, chrome grab handles and kid peeing hood ornament that were already on his last truck.

Why do you need more brake/turn signal lights anyway? I cant understand the point of it at all.

Hey man! I am an old man and a Grandpa and I wouldn't have them on my truck...

Thanks for the recommendations for recon.

Now all I have to do is find me some mudflaps and chrome grab handles! I think I might have appreciated PJB's grandpa for his sense of humor. And the kid peeing was likely Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes, a famous cartoon back in the 1980's. You gotta read more, boy!
