Jesus people, I wasn't trying to make a "race war". Don't makesomething out of nothing. I was simply stating the term "beanered out". Maybe that's just a CA term that ya'll don't use, but I wasn't ripping on Mexican/hispanics, etc... SRH knew what I meant, and he's from CA, so that's gotta say something lol. I said nothing about blacks, so not sure where that came from...

To the OP- I'm sorry if I offended you or your choice. Its your truck, and if you want to put a light bar, by all means. Everyone's opinion differs, and yours is all that matters in the end. I apologize for stating mine when you were not asking for it.

Anyhow, note taken and lesson learned. Carry on

Hi Raider,
I was born near Newman, CA but the family moved to the East Coast before I was 4. In Colorado, the term "beaner" is similar to the N word. My wife's family is Basque and she grew up in Santa Monica, where the word is generally aimed at Mexicans. She reports being called the name too, because apparently people from Cuba, or Argentina, or Columbia, or Spain all look alike.

My blue-eyed blonde 17 year old grandson often corrects my stereotyped thinking.

Default light bar

I am a truck driver and i was in houston today in heavy traffic, and there were about 4 trucks in front of me that all had the lightbars under the tailgate and i think they look really nice, its not a bad look, i dont like those headlights with leds and halo lights or those taillight replacements, but the lightbars actually look pretty cool, now one was a fat strip and was very bright which i liked very much, one was skinny looking and it did look like rope lights and was very dim, 1 had several bulbs burned out which looked crappy.
I would say choose with caution to get the look you desire, i also searched on line last night and found them in multiple colors and i would not even consider anything other than red not even amber.

Raider has my vote.

On the light bars, some look good others don't, it depends what other stupid bean mods you have on your truck. If your truck is beaned out than by default the light bar looks stupid. If you have wheels, tires, tint, shaded heads and tails then yeah it matches with more suitableness and tact.

Oh yeah, this is my opinion.

Bradley, you don't get to decide. When several people tell you they find your speech offensive, you quit. You are responsible for your words and your consequences.

It's not about Raider, she has made her amends and is ok in my book.
