Tires
I'm loving my new F150 SCREW 4x4.
One thing I'm not sure about is that I ordered it with A/T tires and Ford put Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude H/T on it.
Any one else have this happen and what are your thoughts on this tire?
Certainly not as aggressive a tread as i expected based on other A/T tires I have seen.

So I called Ford customer service the other day and told the nice lady about my issue.
She gave me a case file number and told me to get the sales manager at the dealership to call " to reach out " on my behalf.
She kind of intimated that they would be receptive to some sort of arrangement, which I assume meant that they would give me what I actually ordered.
My main concern is that they will want to give me something that is still only 2 ply AT tires.
Guess I'll wait and see.

You may want to read this thread: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/ford-...3/#post4248466
In that thread:
Goodyear considers the wrangler fortitude that comes on these trucks an all terrain tire.
It says so right on the goodyear website.
https://www.goodyear.com/en-US/tires...r-fortitude-ht
Some of us, me included would like a more aggressive tire. But it's not misrepresented.
If a tire manufacturer calls them All Terrain, then they are. Even if you or I wouldn't call them that.

Yes, I saw on their web site that Goodyear calls them AS/AT tires. I have a customer at work that had the same tires shipped on his new GMC Sierra when he ordered truck w/AT tires.
I didn't order AS/AT tires, I ordered AT tires in the hope that they would match them to the trailer tow pkg, trailer tow mirrors and trailer brake controller that I ordered
to be able to tow the two dual axle trailers and cargo that I have.
I would have thought they might have caught on to this.
Don't get me wrong, other than the tires I love the truck.

Looks like Ford put this back on the dealer.
They are offering me $300.00 for my tires and new tires of my choice at a discounted price. Think I'm going for Toyo Open Country AT/II 6 ply.
I'll find out Monday what kind of deal they are doing.
I'll still send Ford a nasty letter.
Not that it will do any good, but I'll feel a bit better.

I did go with the Toyo tires.
Local tire shop gave me a better deal than Ford dealer could and gave me more for my old tires.
Guess I'll send Ford customer service a letter expressing my disappointment.
Not expecting anything.
I've since talked to Ram buyers that got the same tires on their new truck.

Those Toyo's are one of the best looking ATs ever. What size did you go with?
