Yes I have a set of dedicated winter tires on factory wheels. We get a lot of icy conditions here in SK.

It all depends on where you live?

I'm in Ontario, I don't think I'll be changing out my tires.

If you live in Canada or the northern States, you need winter tires.

Just because you've driven XYZ years in WHATEVER conditions, you need winter tires.

Putting Tiger Paws on my 17" 265/70/17 stock rims. They were the best deal other than the ****ty Chinese tires.

I'm down some gravel roads and both our vehicles have a set of winter tires on steel rims. Got stuck once in my f150 4x4 regardless.

PEI here, just bought my 2017 XLT Sport FX4 screw. 4x4 but I'll definitely be getting winter wheels and tires. They made a major difference in all my previous vehicles, especially in stopping distance.

On a related note, where do you guys buy? Really want to shop around, online included. Will be checking out Costco in a few weeks.

FYI, the GoodYear Duratracs are actual all weather tires. They're good for year round use and are winter rated (snow flake logo).
They'll wear faster than a regular all season, but are rated for 80,000kms.
