Default wtf Header Install??

why the hell do they make it soooo hard to install headers onto the 04 150 5.4 engines! aargh so frusterating. hanynes manual sucks, and so does the JBA header instructions suck. ive got good tools with swivels and extensions and still a pain in the butt. Rant Done. 12 of 16 nuts completely off now time to lift part of the engine cause it dont seem possible without doing it.

Why not disconnect the engin and trans mounts, jacking them up, to give yourself more room?

I loosened the transmission mount bolts, removed engine mounts, raised engine 3 inches, removed fender well. I had to do all this thanks to the lift

Interesting. I installed my Dynatechs in my driveway. The driverside takes about an hour but the passenger side took 6-7hrs. It's difficult to say the least. The starter is a pain to get off but a 1/4 drive ratchet and extensions will work wonders. The trans dipstick has to be unbolted and my instructions said to remove the passenger side front tire and fender well. I didn't think I would have to but I did and it was worth it. Never had to jack the engine up or break any bolts loose on the trans.
