How can I know if its the wiper motor or the multifunction switch.
The turn signal, cruise, lights all work just fine

Guys, the 12th generation has optional rain sensing wipers. Could it be an issue with that system?

My daughter's truck does not have the rain sensing wipers. It was a relatively simple job replacing the switch. The dealer had the OEM switch in stock for only $2 more than my NAPA shop which would have had to order the part anyway. So one minor nuisance down.
But thanks for the info.
We are dealing with phase 2 of the OSS recall this week.
Looking forward to finishing that and not having intermittent P0720 codes and inappropriate downshifting on her vehicle.
