Do the rear windows work? Did you put power to the yellow/light green wire when you did the test?

I should have asked if it's only the passengers window that doesn't work. If so, and there's power at the yellow/light green wire, the other 2 should be grounded with the swith in neutral. If you hold the switch to up or down, it's supposed to take the ground away from one and add power from the y/lg wire. If one of those wires are broken in the door jam, the window won't work and there won't be a ground on those wires with the switch in neutral.

so your saying its most likely a broken wire? and i can check that by holding the switch in either the up or down possition and trying to run my back windows?

If you connect power to the y/lg (or if it already has power), pressing the switch should put power to the yellow/red or red/yellow and leave thother one grounded. Use the test light, conect the one side to a power source,y/lg if it has power, and check both ye/rd and rd/ye to see if they are grounded. They should be until you press the switch up or down and then one will turn to power and the other will stay grounded. pressing the switch the opposite way will make those 2 wire do the opposite.
