Default Window Tinting

Looking to get my driverside and passengerside windows tinted 15% to match my factory tints on my 08 STX

Here in NJ tinting these front windows is illegal but i personally dont care lol

What is the average price for this in other states? Anyone in NJ have their glass tinted?

I have 2 quotes so far for these 2 windows: $120 and $110. Seems a little high or is that about right?

Thanks

You will not be able to pass the inspection in NJ with tinted fronts, unless you take it off and then re-tint.

Mine were done for under $100 by the same guy who has tinted all my cars/trucks (meaning he does a really good job). Here in Mass, the trick is to find an inspection shop that won't hassle you. Best bet is to ask the tint shop.

NJ no longer has vehicle inspections
They cut having your vehicle inspected to save $20 million a year

Only emissions testing will be done

Effective August 1, 2010, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission made changes
to the New Jersey Vehicle Inspection Program eliminating the mechanical defects
(safety) portion of the inspection process for passenger vehicles. Most passenger
vehicles will be required to be inspected biennially (every two years) for emissions
only. Commercial vehicles and buses will be required to be inspected annually (every
year) for safety and the appropriate emissions test. Motorcycles are now exempt
from inspectio

Since when are Burlington & McGuire AFB North of Princeton lol

But, yeah, you should be able to get them done for around $100. I got all
5 windows done for under $250.
